This one is an example how good things come from bad … I lost someone close to me way too early in life. This person always lived for ‘later’ ~ waiting for the right time to act on her dreams and life plans. “We have to wait for … (fill in whatever unimportant thing is holding you back here) .”
End result, none were realized.
A couple of years after that, I determined that I would not take that chance and so every year of my life since I make sure that I do something that takes me out of my comfort zone, explore a new place, try a new thing. It keeps my mind from atrophying and keeps me both interested and interesting (I hope!).
I have been doing it since 1989 and each New Year’s Day, I review my year and add a new one or more and ensure that I document them … I challenge you to do the same.
Here are a sampling of just a few of mine over the past 30 years and some ideas for you. Granted, these are the most exciting ones – many are more minor but just as fun – it does become addictive (or is that just my personality?).

Life is awesome – fill it up!
Hi Linda!
Great site and words of wisdom. It was good to read familiar thoughts – especially about karma and how there seems to be an imbalance in the grand scheme of things. Reinforcing faith in one’s actions and heart is the best we can do … it was a very good reminder!
Thank you, Cindy ~ my aim here (other than rambling on!) is to put forward my thoughts on our lives and how we fit in to that grand scheme – always with an eye to the positive. There isn’t enough of that …
